Deliveroo set to participate in Dubai Design Week with one-off food pop-up experience
To celebrate its fourth birthday in the UAE, Deliveroo will participate in Dubai Design Week to bring to the region its first-ever interactive pop-up food experience: Design, Delivered. Dubai Design Week, now in its fifth year, is the biggest design dedicated event of the year which attracts over 75,000 visitors over a six-day programme. Design, Delivered is Deliveroo's take on the iconic cultural event where the online food platform will bring to life a collection of installations and edible experiences meant to inspire and shed light on what goes on behind the scenes of some of our favorite meals.
Inspired by the vibrant art scene of the UAE, the interactive pop-up will include curated sections designed around food and the journey of delivery, including enticing treats from Deliveroo partners.
Visitors can expect an exclusive installation by Hadeel Subahi, a Dubai based architect, origami designer and founder of Fold Lab, an experimental design studio. Subahi has recycled packaging from Deliveroo partners to create a tree creation that will offer a mixture of edible snack for visitors to enjoy.
From oven installations, to larger than life dishes, visitors can expect an immersive journey that promises to tantalise the taste buds of every food lover.
Design, Delivered will operate throughout Dubai Design Week and is open to the public from 12th November to 16th November starting 10am everyday and will be suitable for all ages.
